For nearly two decades, Elenson has been at the forefront of systems change and the democratization of wellness in Africa.

Africa Yoga Project, which she founded 18 years ago, has impacted over 250,000 students across 22 African countries, providing critical tools for physical and mental health. During COVID, Elenson founded Global Healthy Happy Hour, a movement that brought essential wellbeing practices into the homes of thousands in North America while distributing essential goods to over 300,000 people in need.

Elenson also started the Yoga in Factories program with lululemon, piloted across Asia and South America, to bring yoga and mindfulness to garment workers. Her passion is training wellbeing leaders who, in turn, empower others to become leaders in the field.

Her work continues to inspire meaningful change both in her home in Kilifi, Kenya, and across the globe.
