Our diploma in Tourism Management provides comprehensive training, equipping students with the skills and knowledge necessary for leadership roles in the field. Our multidisciplinary course is designed to prepare students for managerial positions within the tourism and hospitality sectors. The program is divided into three modules, with each building on the last to develop a robust understanding of tourism operations, management and cross-cultural communication.
Students gained hands-on experience at various prestigious facilities, including the Fairmont Mara Safari Club in Maasai Mara and Crowne Plaza at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. These placements provided invaluable industry insights and professional exposure.
The cohort visited key cultural and wildlife sites, such as the Nairobi Animal Orphanage, National Museums of Kenya and Nairobi National Park, enriching their understanding of Kenya's tourism landscape.
Students received comprehensive training in essential areas like tour operations, hotel operations, public relations and tourism accounting, completing 670 hours of coursework.

Gladys is now the Front Office Supervisor at Serville Resort in Naivasha.
