Shalton Dedan Otieno is a medical doctor with a degree in medicine and surgery from Kenyatta University in Nairobi Kenya. He has been practicing medicine for the past five years in various positions, including with Mediciens San Frontiers (Doctors without borders—Homabay county Kenya). He began working in the Baraka hospital four years ago and, in that time, has delivered more than 1,000 newborns and performed countless surgeries.
