Penelope Tarasuk has been a psychotherapist since 1975 and a Jungian psychoanalyst since 1988, practicing in Cambridge and South Deerfield, MA. Her background includes extensive training in family systems work, trauma treatment, group dynamics, creativity and spiritual development. She is also a lifelong practicing artist with a background in art from the Philadelphia Museum College of Art.
Throughout her career, Dr. Tarasuk has worked in a variety of settings, from storefront clinics in Lawrence, MA, to private psychiatric hospitals and community mental health centers. She served on the Jung Institute Training Board from 2006 to 2011 and chaired and developed curriculum for the C G Jung Institute in Boston from 2008 to 2011. She remains on the faculty and serves as a training analyst at the institute, and has been an analyst advisor to the Jung Association of Western MA since 2005.
