Craig Kielburger is a devoted husband, father of three, and a globally renowned social entrepreneur. For over three decades, he has inspired and empowered people around the world, helping them find their purpose, create meaningful impact and lead more fulfilling lives.
Today, Craig co-leads Legacy+, a foundry of strategists, designers, creators, storytellers, and innovators dedicated to bringing purpose to life for companies, foundations, and individuals by building authentic movements and legacy projects with real, measurable impacts.
Throughout his career, Craig has partnered with leading global brands such as Microsoft, Unilever, Walgreens, and Allstate to drive transformative social movements. He has also supported influential figures including Oprah Winfrey, Richard Branson, and Sheryl Sandberg in developing and delivering powerful, personal projects that inspire meaningful change.
Craig’s extraordinary journey began in 1995 when, at just 12 years old, he learned about a boy his own age who was murdered after escaping child labor. This life-changing moment inspired Craig to create his first charitable organization, Free The Children. As a teenage guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show, he received a spontaneous pledge from Oprah to help build 100 schools, alongside millions in scale-up funding and the invaluable opportunity to learn from her mentorship.
Under Craig’s leadership, these programs grew to empower 200,000 students with education, 30,000 women through alternative income initiatives, and provide access to healthcare and clean water for over one million people across Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
A New York Times bestselling author, Craig has published 10 books. He holds a degree in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Toronto and is the youngest-ever graduate of the Kellogg-Schulich Executive MBA program. His contributions to education and human rights have been recognized with 15 honorary doctorates and degrees.
His latest book, What Is My Legacy?: Realizing a New Dream of Connection, Love, and Fulfillment, released on Martin Luther King Day 2025, has been celebrated for its profound insights on building a purposeful life. People Magazine featured the book ahead of its release, highlighting how it draws on neuroscience, psychology, and epigenetics, as well as personal experiences, to introduce a new framework called "Living Legacy." Co-authored with his brother Marc Kielburger, Martin Luther King III, and Arndrea Waters King, the book features a foreword by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and contributions from luminaries such as Simon Sinek, Jay Shetty, Julia Roberts, Pete Carroll, and Melinda French Gates.
He serves as Co-Host of the My Legacy Podcast & Syndicated Radio Show on iHeart - alongside his co-authors from the What Is My Legacy? book.
